I feel like it's missing something on the slide of my BlackWater 1911, so I tried this. I'm 50/50 about this, how about you guy's.

I think it looks too large and too dark. Smaller and a lighter colour (so that it looks engraved) would look better.

I in the either nothing or finer and more like engraved camp on this. More on the nothing side....

It was more like a test to see, I will leave it as it is plain polish. 8)

I say you should polish it more.

I know the feeling, I finished mine by hand because my rotating tool is battery powered and it was dead. It's like a mirror now.

Found new wheels and ''Autosol metal polish'', did some preliminary polishing WAY more shine now and got rid, reed, ride ??? of the marking. May look at a lizzard of some kind wrappig from the side to top of slide. Nah it will stay plain polish 8)
