Just to share, heres a mod I did tonight to ease up the last 1/4'' trigger pull. I rounded up the two edges of the part 01 and 02 of this picture. (with sandpaper) It makes the last mm of the trigger pull 75% easier, can be compare now to the Makarov Umarex non blowback, With a little bit of oil on those two part where they meet it helps too. The gun is much more pleasant to shoot and accuracy improve too due to lighter trigger pull.

Thank you for your posting @waltherglocksmith. I recently purchased a Makarov Ultra from a member here and the trigger pull was over 10 lbs, so I followed your instructions and after the first attempt I got it down to 6.5 lbs. So I took it all apart again and did a little more sanding and now it's down to just over 4 lb. It is very predictable right now, so I'm going to leave it at that, as I fear it may become unstable if I take anymore off. Next job is to start polishing this gun. |
