This gun is rated at 510 fps which is suspicious to start with since the nearly identical 853 is rated 495 fps.
I recently tested it and found it was shooting in the low 400s with 7 gr pellets. I took apart every piece that could be taken apart, cleaned everything and changed the o-ring that seals the chamber at the valve end. Very lightly oiled every thing and reassembled. No improvement. Any ideas?

Pretty sure that low 400s is in the ballpark. If it shoots accurately then I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's intended to be used for paper-punching at 10m indoors.

Thanks guys,
It probably shoots nearer to 500fps with the lighter alloy pellets. They should state the weight of the pellet when they claim velocity.
