I got one mounted on my Maximus. I had to tap a hole to make it work. But the kit works well and nicely made. I went directly to GMAC to get mine. But I'm making a carbine and now the kit is going on a 2260.

Only issue I had was I had to shave some rings to make it clamp on the rail.

I have a couple of the BNM ones ,a little less efficient than a steel breech crosman but you can polish the probe back from the transfer port to gain some of the velocity back, really happy with them..kelly

Installed easy, I never had it jam on me. It shouldn't loose FPS being that the transfer port is .149 so its larger then factory but It travels more. I cannot tell you the FPS it runs. But you can install a PA and get the FPS back.

I have had mine jam a couple of times. It is no big deal to clear it.
I can bring it to the next shoot if you are going to be there.
Hopefully Peter will set up an other before to long,

Calgary area. The group is called AIR-FT; contact rocker45 or castle02 for more info.

I have BMN multi breeches on two or three 2240s modded to carbines - they work great but are not cheap. They use easy-to-get Marauder magazines.

(U.S. prices - They recently rebuilt their website, and I don't see breeches only; you may have to call or email them)

I displayed a 2240 with an 8 shot crosman clip that I build at the Camrose Huntmania in Feb. and again at the Stony Plain gunshow this past weekend. I make them out of 7075 aircraft grade aluminum.

I build breech, bolt, and barrel band as a package for the crosman 2240. However I also put an oring seal on the end of the barrel. You can check my website, innovativemachining.ca where I have a pictorial of building a repeating breech for a Bam XS-B 50. All the breechs use the self indexing maurauder clips.
