I know people use ice maker tube or crosman 22xx seals on the qb78 guns.
Just to clarify... When the stock 22xx seal is used does that also include the machined metal part?

Short answer is no. Unlike the 13xx/22xx guns, the QB rifles are sealed between the breech and valve exhaust hole, there is no barrel ''pocket''. The barrel is sealed to the breech by the O-rings around the machined diameter of the barrel.

Hope that helps :)

They use the poly tube for Transfer Ports...not seals!

Greg, a 22xx seal can be used instead of the poly tubing, because it's the right diameter and about the right length. Also, it's made of rubber, so much more pliable (conforms well to the curved surfaces), and re-usable too
