so recently i've been getting more problems with my hw90 gas-ram air rifle, as seen in the first picture i got a decent group but a bit to the right (about 40 meters) So i adjusted the scope a bit to the left and then this happened... (see second picture) any ideas on how this may have happened?

What are we suppose to see on the second picture?
- There are 3 holes no-where near one another...

If you undo the change, does the POI return to where it was?
If not, it looks like you're scope is broken.

What kind of rifle/scope are you using?

Assuming the gun worked fine before, I'd be looking at the scope. Could be it's gotta loose part or? Did you shim the scope or simply adjust elevation to compensate? Adjusting to comp can cause problems.
Loose stock screws, air leakage at the breech, cheapo pellets, using a bench rest can call cause issues.
