Well I'm planning on building a 2260 HPA and kinda need help.

I want to use a regulated 1100 PSI bottle, tether it it. I know simple, Use a dummy co2. BUT......

But I want to put a disco valve front onto the 2240 valve body ( also pin it ) and oring fitting end cap. So basically the tube because a pressured regulated air reserve.

Question one, will the disco valve end thread into the 2240.

Two, is this crazy?

Option 2 is using a Disco tube and cutting it down to length as the 2260. Is that legal?

Yes, the Disco valve front will fit on a 22XX valve, but why not just use a Disco valve, it is already drilled for the three anchor points you will need, all you will need to do is drill the tube for them.... or, as you say, use a Disco tube, which is already drilled for them (and a gauge), and shorten it....

There is no issue with shortening air reservoirs IRT legalities.... barrels are another matter....

Well aware of the barrels. Just wasn't sure about the air reservoirs. Anyone in Canada does this?
