Hi there. So, I have a Crossman 795 Springmaster that somewhere along the line, I had happened to misplace the hood for the front sight. Does anyone here happen to know how one could make one for the gun, or has anyone ever made one before? If so, any tips would be greatly appreciated. |

And if anyone here would happen to have one for a 795 Springmaster, I would also appreciate the dimensions, length and diameter. |

Would a copper plumbing fitting work? Perhaps a 1/2" or 3/4" coupling could be fit to size? |

A binder clip is perfect. However finding the old round ones the right size, might be difficult. |

The finest pin - head front site, is made from a hog's bristle, touched by a hot iron and set(glued) into a soft pine block. That was the 1880's version of a fine target sight for a muzzleloading bench rest rifle - Works. The "G"? string was a good idea. Sry - "E" string - good idea. |

I guess I could have used a "G" string, but I didn't want the controversy of looking through a peep sight at a "G" string. Peter |

If you use a "G" string for a front sight would where the pellet hits be the "G Spot"? |
