What facts were you looking for? Robert sent me same setup as his.
Before and after were the same for fps, spread dropped roughly in half. I didn't do any accuracy tests until after 150-200 shots with bearing. Never occurred to me before.

I just began testing mine. Plan on doing Crosman/Benjamin .22 the same way. Everything ordered from Motion Canada, hopefully here tomorrow and installed Friday.

May get my neighbour to try his Benjamin with 2 washers polished and greased to see if there's any difference.

Ran out of Heavies for D350, about 300 through, more accurate than without, smoother cocking and shooting, no adverse affects.

About 500-600 through Benjamin Classic, bearing like the day it was installed. All's better than stock without. Seems like a definite improvement.

Good to hear Chris. Getting close to another pic update, the crosman's are almost gone.

Update pic at 2500 shots or so. Looking good, no problems to report. I ordered some H&N FTT 8.64gr to try so lighter spring installed. Click on pic for a larger view. 8)

Enjoying shooting. D350 broke scope at about 1500 shots. Still shooting great and noise free.
Benjamin .22 about 3500 shots into it, noise free. Haven't taken apart. Tryed 8 different weights over 4 different brands.

I see you have been busy, to bad about the scope, I went through a few with my 350 before I found a good one.
I would be interesting to see the bearing from your Benj, .22 when you inspect it.
Keep on shooting! :)

This coming weekend I will. Has been frustrating getting it to shot well, too much fun right now that it is. 10yr old has been shoooting cherry tomatoes at 20yds, marshmallows at 30yds.

I know what you mean, no rush, whenever you have time. Cherry tomatoes explode nicely, great targets.

Put washers and bearings in all my guns. Have put 1000 rounds of each 13.?, 14.3, 15.9, and 18.13 .22 calibre. Guns include Benjamin Classic, Ruger Air Hawk (barrel swap) and Diana 350. No issues, never felt the need to pull apart, shootin smooth.
Benjamin and Ruger have at least 3000 a piece. Both as smooth as after tuning. Both maybe a little weak, 665fps. Accurate though.

Also put washers and bearings in Stoeger x3 for my kids. Spacer sped gun a little, much smoother cocking and shooting. They thought it was slower until shooting targets. 1000's through that gun also between the 2 shooters.

Just to up-date this very old post, I performed some quite extensive tests over the summer with thrust bearings similar to those discussed here.
My findings (which included the use of a Torsion test machine) while having some agreement with the findings here, that no notable damage to the bearings was detected, however concluding that virtually no difference in torsion efficiency was found ..when compared with a simple lubed washer on a Delrin guide.
I also found zero detectable difference when using different washer materials with said guide.
I did find a mild increase in efficiency when using certain proprietary lubricants on the delrin guide, with some better than others but the margins were so tiny that it was difficult to detect with the test machine, muchless a human body shooting the gun...

Conclusion...A simple lubed washer on Delrin guide is all thats needed, with not enough reduction in efficiency with the thrust bearing to make it worth considering...
I do however applaud such experiments which can only be good for our sport ..
