I saw this and was wondering if this high performance valve is legit as it doesnt require a flat top piston.... Also I was wondering if it is legit, could it be converted to flat top valve for even better performance?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks!!

Valve is hogged out, and will require more pumping for same performance. With "even more" pumping, you'll get an increase in velocity over a stock valve.

Have seen some numbers from the valve with a longer barrel (21"IIRC), left me pretty un-impressed.

When the 2289's were "all the rage", fellows down south were getting 700-725fps w/14.3gr out of a 14.5" barrel. Plugging the bleed hole on the transfer port usually brought the Canadian 2289's up to just under 500fps....don't know if they still have those.

Lol, will always come up, and Al already alluded to the fact that unfortunately 1377, 1322, and 2289 are all considered pistols in Canada, and are restricted if over 500fps. This is even the case with longer barrels and stocks. You need to buy a 2100 or 760 tube and convert them to make it legal to shoot over 500fps with a PAL. Anyway figured I might as well mention it, though you may already know it, someone reading might not.
If you have a 1377, their valve has a bleed hole you can fill with jbweld to bring it right up to 500fps. You'll want a chronograph to make sure you are still under. The 1322 can benefit from drilling out the transfer port a little bigger, and of course flat topping it gives higher velocity in less pumps.

Read the item description- "typically 17-22 pumps before valve retains air".

Do you really want to pump 20 times?

Also note: "Put a stronger hammer spring, an extended probe, a longer barrel, etc. and the impact of these cumulative mods can really add up." -effectively, most of the gains are from these other mods. If you can get an FTP, it reduces the number of pumps. If this seller had a hogged-out valve and FTP piston 'kit' - that would be something.
