Personally I run a filled front rest. I find if you don't get a tilt/pan bipod. A lot of your fine tuning. Is you physically twisting the bipod. |

This is what I’ve been using for the last while https://www.amazon.ca/Height-Adjustable ... rail+mount Not even close to the real thing (Atlas B10) but works just fine for a non recoiling pcp air rifle . I applied blue locktite to all the fasteners as soon as I received it . |

As Leadslinger noted, the tilting, panning bipods are pretty much necessary, especially with guns having long barrel times. If the bipod mounts rigidly, it is very difficult to not-torque the rest. Torquing, twisting motion or sideways pressure will throw shots. I like and have 1/2 dozen or so, Harris Bipods as well Caldwell bipods that 'cant' and 'pivot'. These are normally for powder burners & fit sling-swivel studs. The 9-13" work best for me for gopher shooting, but the 6-9" is better for bench work. A friend bought the "sitting" model, but it did not work well for him. Here is the new Harris- may be best yet. https://www.harrisbipods.com/NewProducts.php These are the 9-13" pivoting, canting bipods. They do not disrupt or throw shots.
