Anyone got any tips and tricks. To make the factory stock on the PP700 SA less flimsy? It got some wobble at where it mounts to the gun ( screws tight ) And the stock itself is flimsy. It could be a little bit tighter. Anyone solve these issue? |

i couldn't even get mine to line up until Wes advised me to loosen the hex head bolt inside the grip.. "..The stock should go on fine if you loosen that bolt on the underside of the pistol grip a bit, with a hex key, then pull the grip back a bit. Once you have the stock screwed in you can tighten the grip bolt back up. .." |

I put the stock end that attaches to the pp700sa in a vice and bent the metal part of the stock downward a very small amount (take your time with this). I had to do this several times fitting it back on the pistol until the up and down movement stopped. (Bend only the metal part with the V cut this is the weakest spot) Next I folded the stock and drilled a hole into the lower flat section on the bottom of the hing part large enough for a drywall screw to thread in all the way with a slight countersink. This screw can adjust in or out to tighten the hing up. Mine is rock solid now!! Hope this helps... |

I might try to find a heavier spring, see if more pressure takes some of the wobble out. Even with the bit of play, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for what they cost. |

Yeah it's a nice stock, just could be a bit stiffer. Biggest issue I got mainly is where it mounts to the gun. It rocks when I shoot. |

My stock still folds. That issue you have with the stock rocking is fixed when you put that small bend in that I stated above. I will see if I can attach a picture showing the screw location. |

Well I drilled and tapped it for 10-32 I had setscrews over from the P17 long barrel..Thanks, that fixed that issue. But I broke the stock, bending the tabs. Oh well... WES !!! |

That’s not good. Maybe I was just lucky. It took me 4 tries before I got enough bend to stabilize the metal part of the stock. Hope you get a new one soon. I can now hold my pp700sa by the end of the stock and move it around without any free play. |
