I was finding that I would pump it un even. To the point I bent my foot peg.

So seeing that there was this thing called Pump Stix. I decided to make a copy. Using stuff I had lying around.

Well I tried different bases, mounting with U bolts. I wasn't getting the lined up pumping I liked. Either the base would kick out. Or was choppy. So came up with this. Just gotta get some Bolts and lock nuts. Since I'm finding that the nuts are backing off.

Makes pumping alot easier.

Looks good, if I would change anything, it would be location of the pump handle attachment point. I would out it on top of the pump instead of off to the side to prevent torque on the cylinder.
But that is just me. 8)

Yeah I get what you are saying. First couple designs were over the center. But It didn't pivot as good. But I didn't have the pivot base.

I found some flat steel in the corner, that I can make into a link. Utilizing the same holes, so I can put the force over the center

Even put a bend in it, so Its better ergonomics. I just need a longer whip now.
