What does the adjuster do to this air stripper? I see what's going on? Not sure if im giving it the right name.

Hi thank you! I really enjoyed this project.
The set screws allow the cone to slide back and forth and also angle it a minute amount to make sure it is concentric with the bore. . There is a sweet spot between the cone opening and the muzzle , usually somewhere around the diameter of the pellet depending on the stripper.
I designed my airstripper from scratch so I'm guessing at the setup right now.
The shroud is completely non functional just for looks , just something I wanted to try so I though why not make it part of the airstripper:)

I just can't leave this thing alone. Caveat These rifles are cheap so I don't expect perfection I enjoy the many improvements that can be made. If I can take 200 rifle and make shoot and function like 400$ thats my challenge. Its why I like this hobby.

So I decided to chop a bit of length off the barrel and then do a re crown again. I believ this my best recrowning yet. I cut it with a hack saw then faced on my mill and finished it spinning it in a drill while using wetsand paper oil to get a nice surface. Of course the brss screw and J/b paste to finish the crown.

Also decided to make new pins for the trigger assembly to get a smoother tighter function.
Each pin is oversized near the head so they lightly pressure fit into the trigger housing. The pins are toleranced to eliminate any wobble.

Just kind of curious about the holes in the trigger frame. How much did you have to enlarge them to match the holes in the trigger components?

Was considering doing this to all 3 of mine, with cheap drill bit shafts from P/A for replacement pins....

I did not change any holes in trigger guard or trigger or sear.
I simply made pins that were perfect slip fit in the Trigger and sear holes. The pins have shoulder a few thou bigger to press fit into the trigger frame so the pins are much more supported. It removed a lot of slop.
The holes in the trigger are smaller than the holes in the frame. If there was a way to secure both sides , maybe swedging the hole a tiny bit that would really help too.

The trigger is pretty decent but could use some more improvements.
So I replaced the the trigger spring with one from under the flint of a good ol bic lighter. I used about 1/4 to ⅓ of the spring after making a spring guide out of a 2mm x5mm stainless bolt with the threads shaved off.

Next replaced the trigger set screw with one long enough to poke out each side of the trigger 1mm. This reduces take up and travel and kinda mimics a two stage.

I made sure to bang and tap the stock a few different ways to make sure it can't fire a erroneously. If you do it right the safety works perfectly as the safety engagement part of the trigger is just resting against the safety.

It now has very short pull with a clean break at somewhere around 13 oz.
I can post pics if anybody wants.

Hey, that's a great idea getting a grub screw long enough to stick out both sides! The Bic lighter spring is something I've done as well on the Cp1-M.

The trick was adjusting the length of the set screw just enough so the safety still works , another option would be to make a remove-able sleeve from K&S brass tube for the pin, and then you would have more adjustabilty in the trigger.

I'm going to do a Bstaley mod next , any insights you have on that? durometer of orings and # etc?

A little "moly grease" will help prevent wear on the brass pins. Very nice machining, btw.
I use moly grease in my muzzle loading gun's locks. It stays put and works very well.

That's great! I can't remember exactly but I don't think I used an overly thick 3/4" oring for the bstaley mod. The valve stem is very short so doesn't need much that's for sure.
