Post subject:  Artemis CR600/PR900 Diana Stormrider etc Magazine smoothing?
Hi,
I'm having an issue loading pellets with the 7 shot mag in my Artemis. Rifle loads single shot pellets quite smoothly, but through the mag it feels quite crunchy and grindy like something isn't aligned up right or is out of adjustment. I remember reading a post someone had adjusted the tension on the mag to make pellets load more smoothly, but alas I can't find that post.
Does anyone have advice/experience as to how to smooth out the mag loading on these guns? I have another mag coming from Wes, so if its an issue with the one I have maybe problem will self identify. In the meantime..help appreciated.

Hi Duke all my mags from wes work smoothly, however with the very rough lead in and burrs by transfer port that these are prone to have it can feel like its the mag, at least that was my experience. After I reamed the lead in just past the TP and polished it , smooth as silk. The single shot felt easier as first but when you throw the mag into the mix is when the lead in problems show up more. These are great rifles for the money, just need some "love" I also use a tiny drop of teflon oil in mine when I first got them. When I used some copper washed H&N pellets that was very tough to load in the mag leading to jams causing me to have remove the barrel to clear the (pia) after the reaming much better.
