Anyone have advice on modifying my dragonfly .22 cal. I would love to make its FPS extreme .curently suposidly gets 630fps . I however don’t believe it unless using feather weight pellets. But I haven’t chronied it either, just my opinion until I do. So if u can help!!

Here you go - chrono's with 14.3gr. pellets, 3 pumps 488.5fps, up to 8 (635fps) pumps.
Best accuracy to 20yards, was with 6 pumps (580fps).

You could drill the valve port, the transfer port and barrel port out a small amount. That should give you a little more power. Putting some crosman oil on the oiler on the pump Piston might help and I heard of some guys removing the rubber parts from the Piston and replacing them with something but I forget the exact details.

With the limited volume of the valve, you will not see much more than 650 with a 14.3 gr pellet no matter how you modify it.
My .22 is pretty much out of the box stock except for me drilling out the t/p.
There's a lot already posted here on this subject. Searching this page for artemis pumper will turn up a lot.
Mine is nice and accurate for a .22, and a decent close to medium range hunter...

Velocity isn't everything. The bulk of my pb hunting is done with subsonic 22 LR, which in my case means a 29 gr h.p. at 750 fps.
From the limited testing I've done with them, velocity fall-off is rapid.

The 16 gr pellets me and my air rifles favor for small game hunting aren't all that far off that mark, with the pellet retaining velocity slightly better. The dragonfly/artemis/ Seneca etc. pumpers are more than capable of placing their shots, which goes a long way to making up for the retained energy differences. The way my rifle is tuned now, I am getting 640 ish with the predators, which is very, very good performance for a multi-pumper.

That's 14.5fpe - pretty good. About the same as my HW98.
