Post subject:  Stock replacement for Baikal IJ-22

Hi,
Usually my grandkids are very careful with the old Baikal IJ-22 (USSR made .177), but with the sudden cold morning target shoot, the stock broke right in half while cocking.
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if these old guns would have replacement stocks available? I could glue with pins etc, but would always be weak in that spot.
Thanks!

You could put an ad in the wanted section, but in the meantime I would break out the epoxy and some threaded rod. It'll be stronger than you'd think if you can clamp it tight enough.

Wow - can't believe you found one! Thanks! I was just about to break out the glue/rod, or ask my son to help with his wood hoby.

Thanks to both for the kind replies!

Although it was advertised as a .22 cal I believe the seller may have confused the model ( IJ-22) with the fact that it was for a .177 pellet gun. Took about a month of back forth, because I wanted photos of the inside pocket just to ensure it was indeed for an air gun.

Bottom line, I got the stock and it fit like a glove! Thanks again yanico for pointing out that add!
