full disclosure: :drinkers:

i think the Sig P365s are possessed.

my first went back after freezing up. (can't remember if it was the slide or the safety) :?:
..but it was probably the safety because something compelled me to CrazyGlue the new one's safety into the off position.

anywaays......

i had bought a spare mag and i am glad i did :), as the mag that came with the (brand new) gun goes full-auto from the first trigger pull.

scared the bejeezers out of me the first time it happened :o,
..but after that it was just fun.

it doesn't even lock back after the last round. only when the psi can't cycle the blowback. :!: i don't even have time to let go of the trigger!

anywaays......

i was thinking  i might fix it if possible.

before i undo the only screw visible to me,
is there anything i might do before disassembly?

a bath in PellGun Oil?, silicone oil?, alcohol? Swiss Chalet chicken sauce?

and if i have to go in,
what am i looking for?

..or is this a 'suckitupbuttercup' type of affair :goodman: and i'm just to buy a new one?

i humbly defer to your sage advice. :prayer:

Are you sure it's related to the mag only and nothing else in the gun?

It's going 'full auto', so it's keeping the valve open all the time when you press the trigger, right? And It stops only when the co2 capsule get empty?

And it seals well when you tighten up the capsule and no leaking at that time?

When you compare the two mags, and difference (or wearing on the spots should not happen) you can find?

Hehe~ asking more questions before trying to answer the first one... Too bad I am...

..

not at all. that's what brain-storming is.

yes... it's keeping the valve open all the time when i press the trigger, right. And It stops only when the co2 capsule gets empty enough not to effect blowback.

And it seals well when i tighten up the capsule and no leaking at that time.

visually, they are as old as each other, and either are barely used.

i've had CO2 run low on a blowback KWC 1911 where the valve doesn't recharge enough to where it has enough psi inside the valve to resist the hammer bounce before a subsequent shot and so the falling hammer can overcome the valve and fire 3-4 shots that way in an apparent automatic mode.

is there a sticky spring in there?
too much Swiss Chalet sauce?

edit: is it a seal and a spring and stem,
..or a sealed cartridge?

Looks you need to find that out by yourself with screwing off that 'only' screw you see on the mag?! Thinking you are an better experienced plinker than me, I am taking a seat and see how you turn it out...

My only related experience was fixing the leaking ptfe seal on my Witness 1911 which the co2 leaked all out when I tighten up it into the mag...

However I am thinking the same, some spring looks failed doing his job so when you press the trigger, the co2 blows out, and it's not able to shut off the valve untill the pressure lower down to some level... If so, this spring is in the mag or in the gun?!

i have a second mag that works just fine so i'm suspecting just this mag is the issue.

Oh, yes! That's a good evidence!

Is it still within the warranty? Sending it back a better idea?

the screw removed the cover. the rubber stem gasket came out with it. easily separated. i poked the stem in and out a few times. short stroke! i allowed a tad of red sauce to run down the stem as i held it open for a bit. then some silicone on the stem seal and i put it back together.

it works!
_________
happy 'nother year
