Thanks to help from rsterne, lauchlin, bribiguy, Ace, and Arden, my C1400 is back in action and looking good.
Here's a shot of my valve and and the new cup I got from RG Airguns. I'm using the photo from rsterne's post.

I have a minor issue with the pump handle not staying up after a while.
I wonder if the length of the pump cup rod needs adjusting.
Thanks for all the help and for taking a look at my reborn rifle.

Beautiful. I had an older model 140 a few years back......powerful for an old gun.

Adjust the piston out a little it will stay up

That is a fine collection, I must say, and thanks for the compliment.
I worked on the stock refinish and barrel/tube re-blue for quite a while.

lauchlin,
I will try that adjustment.

About 1/8 of an inch did the trick.
Now I can put the roll pin back in... been using a small bolt to hold the handle.

Just a bit of a collector.......between guns, and airguns, I also collect knives and swords........currently have over 300 knives in my collection. :mrgreen:
