Looking for something like a used Williams or Mendoza rear peep sight that clamps to a dovetail mount.

Thanks

This is not a dovetail compatible sight .

I am sure that Williams does make a suitable one though .

Like this one .

I bought my Daisy one from Amazon, model #5996, looks same one selling anywhere for about double the price. So I don't know if they are the same one.

The seller is very good, but the quality of the product is just so-so... The small ball bearing for the windage turret fell off in the first some clicks on my first one and I just received the replacement a few days ago after I submitted replacement request for about 3 weeks ( it was shipped from the States and affected by the postal strike )

I have the Williams 5D-AG ( the up down two layers one ) too. Same Williams quality as my other Williams peep sight for my 1322/2240.

But this one is not that convenient to use. Especially the windage adjustment, not a turret or turning adjustment, it's the very old school style to use two set screws to hold the peep sight on the base, after you loose the two screws, the peep sight can be moved left or right FREELY, and you tighten the screws to fix the peep sight at position after you find a 'good spot' for it. Very hard to fine tune...

You get what you paid..... Image

LOL - I saw it was for an air gun, so assumed it mounted on the standard grooves. Oh well. No harm, no foul.

Yeah- like being presented with a box of 500. once fired ctg. cases at the range, then

having to buy a rifle in that calibre so you can use the brass.

Of course, you also need to buy, dies, rings, scope, bullets, powder and primers as well.

Hi TriggerHappy,

it's say that the Daisy diopter sight need to use with the front globe sight and not suitable for the small pole front sight or the blade sight ...

However I didn't really start to use it yet as while I waiting for my replacement, I scoped my rifle ( HW30 that comes with front globe sight) and don't want to put the peep sight on again at the moment...

Yup I'm using it on my IZH 61, which would have the front globe sight.
