I'd recommend the Beeman Chief in 22 for a pcp under $300, from Canadashootingsupply.ca. He has a Christmas Sale on now. I bought mine there. Great guy to deal with! Close by where you live too, though he doesn't have a store front. http://www.canadashootingsupply.ca/beem ... f-pcp.html These are great accurate rifles! For a pump I would have to recommend my own site for the best price, but you can find them on CSS as well. =) https://airgunarcheryfun.ca/bull-premiu ... hand-pump/ Sent from my EML-L09 using Tapatalk |

Hi I know you would rather pick up in person but I would be willing to part with one of my Benjamin Maximus. I would even ship It for 250$ I recently got into Pcp rifels and am really enjoying it. You would need a pump though. This thing is a tack driver and is .22 and will shoot crosman pellets at over 800 fps. I am in the midst of thinning my collection and will be putting many spriners and a few pcp up for sale. PM me if you would like any more info. |

The reason to shy away from the so-called MAGNUM springers is a general lack of accuracy past about 20 yards. This can be countered somewhat by using what are called heavy-for-calibre pellets. In .177, those would be at minimum, the 10.5gr Crossman Ultra-mag. Better yet, would be the bullet-shaped JSB's in the 13gr. range. In 22 which I would prefer for hunting squirrels, the 19.09gr. H&N, or the H&N match at just over 21gr. would be my choice. These shoot well in both of my 22 ca. Air Guns. They will get the velocity down to a more accurate range for the springers, hopefully. |
