The "cowboy" lever action on the Sumatra 2500 Carbine makes it unique among PCPs (don't mean to say the only one, but it is unique - I'm at a loss at the moment for a comparative). I believe this rifle comes in .22 and .25, so it's really not in the "big bore" category (I realize you said, "bigger bore.")

Your options would open up a bit if you were to consider some repeater mechanism other than this style. There are several .25 repeaters out there, but many are bolt action. And FYI, the tank on this particular firearm is fairly small.

I realize there are more practical rifles out there but the lever action is integral to the enjoyment of this one for the purpose it's intended.

Fair enough. So, what you're really looking for is a Sumatra 2500 Carbine in 25 cal. Right?

Those are some nice builds!

Probably out of my price range though. Hopefully I should have a Sumatra on the way shortly, I'm sure it will do the trick.

I understand the internals are a little... agricultural... any links on where to get started making them less of an air hog?
