Hi all I'm currently looking for some trigger bits for my BSA Meteor Mk3, I'm familiar with air rifles but have never worked on a BSA before and from what I gather my trigger springs are completely gone/broken :? Basically hoping someone here has left over trigger bits that could help me or atleast point me in the right direction... it looks like D&L has BSA parts but I'm not 1000% sure what I'm even looking for lol

Sear, sear spring, sear pivot pin, trigger, trigger pivot pin. The sear spring is a double v-spring. They eventually break. What parts do you currently have?

It looks to be all there, the double v spring (part 161387) is definitely broken... isnt as complicated trigger as I initially thought thankfully!

You can make a sear spring from music wire (piano wire). I used .045” tempered spring wire and made the bends with ordinary linesman pliers. Bend the wire against a work table. I used the original broken v-spring as a guide and tried to duplicate the measurements. A 6” length of wire will make one spring. A 36” length of piano wire should only be a few dollars. Try your local music stores and hobby shops for the wire.
