Another quirky human trait...the less people know about something....the more they have to say.

Mans needs are easily met. Mans wants and desires are out of controll and will never be satisfied. The latest discovery of Earth like planets, immediately led me to the conclusion that all future resources for space exploration will be focused on getting there. If one of the planets has life, but not intelligent biengs, then chances are it has a balanced ecological system. When humans land on that planet, they will ultimately destroy it. First, they will wipe out the competition.

joe; I just read the other day about nasa finding these planets. and as I was reading the posts on this page before I got to the bottom I had figured out what I was going to write. but then I came to yours and you beat me to it almost word for word. we won't be around to see it. but I hope it,s not a planet full of beautiful animals. hmm now I know where ideas for movies like avatar and similar ones come from. I always wondered.

opinions are like azzholes, everyone has one. And many tend to exhaust their anouying gases with little thought of others.

Like it or not, we are part of the 'shooting sports' family. Lets all just get along.

There has been many cougar sightings in southern Ontario the past few years, there are more then you might think out there.

Darn right. A good opinion. Now you're one of us.

Everyone who shoots should agree, regardless whether he shoots in his basement or backyard, at a range, or while on safari. It's all the same, no?

I was not going to get any more involved in this discussion because everyone is entitled to their opinion. However I have had a change of heart, so to speak. I am not against hunting or killing and deffinetly not against shooting. Lord knows I done plenty in my lifetime. And keeping large predators at bay is a necessary activity. My emotional self got the better of my practical self, when I saw the picture of such a beautiful majestic creature. I don't think I even read the story before I reacted. I still feel its shameful. However, not that the poster killed such a beautiful animal, but, that it "had" to be killed at all.
