I watched a review a couple of months ago, I was intrigued with the bipod being offset forward more than a standard diagonal pod. I put this together this morning out of oak dowel to test the concept, before buying aluminum

The concept works and it is very rigid for being made of wood. I wouldn't hesitate to use with any gun that I didn't need to take on the road. I have an unused pic rail and bipod that I am going to adapt in a similar fashion with aluminum tube

Neat idea looks better to me than a standard bipod.

I have completed an all aluminum unit with a pic rail at the end. I use it out front to zero in and then turn around to have the bipod at the centre of gravity for varmint control.
