I decided to try the Leapers 8 - 32 x 56 SW scope on the FWB 300S. I modified an older Sportsmatch mount to provide a total of 0.035" droop (0.0075" per inch) on the upper dovetail, and cut away on the bottom dovetail to allow the mount to be moved forward for proper eye relief. (This is one of the FWB 300S rifles with the very short dovetails).

I also made up a 150 mm sidewheel add-on for the 80 mm leapers unit. The whole rig feels good, and "fits" nicely. Just a matter now of getting someplace dry to get the ranges measured out and marked on the sidewheel.

Nice work on the drooped riser and wheel. See you next weekend at the Ancaster show.

It really isn't that heavy, and the benefit of the larger diameter for the range markings far outweighs a bit of added weight.

The range data primarily.
Then again, maybe a tactical flashlight, a red/green laser sight, a tactical vertical grip, possibly a tri-rail picatinny, maybe an infrared scope (for those dark lanes), laser rangefinder, GPS unit, and, and ...........

When are we going to see some pics of that Pro Sport????

Is it ever a sweet shooting rifle, lol. It just needs some tweaking to the operator, hehe.

 WOW! That's coooool! Very nice work, as usual.

Any chance you could post somethin' horribly botched, just to make some of the rest of us feel a little better about our junk?

That side wheel looks great, love the pin out from the scope mount, can't make the wheel but might have a go at the pin :)
