Yes, it was. This shooting form (ISSF) is not one I have taken up.
I still shoot quite a few handguns, but all my shooting is 2-handed.

Not even for PPC? Regardless, I'm confident if you chose too, like a duck to water.

I find this style, along with Olympic rifle shooting style, too bloody hard on my 73 year old back.
I did some single handed shooting back in the 60's and 70's, but broke the back in 73 and that was
if for those styles. I did shoot SFC in the 70's & 80's. Made 1st Master as unclassified (my first match) than 1st Master
after classification. That was prone at 100 yards. Later made Master in 3-position as well. That was fairly easy as you
only have to score 90% or better in prone, kneeling and standing. I'd built a thumbhole match rifle in .308 Winch. and
used a 12X scope. It was pretty easy to shoot 3, 100's in prone with that rifle. Piece of cake. HA! Now I have 24X scopes
on air rifles. :lol:
