Basically, it's an over-sized caltrop with a disc on each point.

I saw them for sale on Craigslist , I think $40.00 for a pair. I seem to recall they're made on Vancouver Island, but I could be wrong.............Thumper

Canadian tire has them they are a hard but light plastic they do need a good punch to get them to dance there good fun as well as to bobbles

:idea: I have an old road sign here that I might try fabricating one of these out of. Road signs are made of fairly thick aluminum and are quite stiff. It should be light enough to "walk" when hit by a pellet/ BB but sturdy enough that the pellet/BB wont punch through it :idea:

I did a little research and on another, unrelated forum, someone bought one of these, reverse engineered it and posted these diagrams. I made a crude prototype out of cardboard with some scrap pieces of plexiglas hot-glued on each leg and took a few shots at it with my C-41, just to see if it would "walk"... It did! So I was looking around my workshop and discovered something that I think will work better than an aluminum road sign....Lexan.( I worked for a sign company years ago, and being the cheap S.O.B. that I am, used to save scrap pieces of acrylic and Lexan that they were going to throw away.
