Post subject:  homemade knockdown steel targets.

hey all. so I am going to make a magnetic target trap like walterglocksmiths trap in the picture gallery. but as usual there was screw ups. so I decided to use the abominations for knockdown targets. I just use junction box covers [$1.19] at rona. and I used a grinder to cut them out. you can make as many legs as you wan;t and shape them any way you want with pliers. they are originally 5" around I think but I cut them down to 2" around. haven't tried them yet . but they will work. this steel is tough too and can really take a beating. there are tons of possibilities with these. pretty cheap too. good luck.

They look great - I bet they'd go flying in a really satisfying way :) I wonder if you could squeeze two targets out of each cover. Might have to be a bit of an oddball shape.
