Thanks to all who organized this event. 8)
Couldn't really ask for a better weather then we had today at Elmira for this fun shoot...
The fresh air, exercise and company of all the great folks that attended the match made for a memorable day my granddaughter and I will always remember ... Priceless .... 8)

Here is a short slide show I put together of today's outing ....

Thanks for the pics as always Parker101! What a great day, nothing like shooting out in the sun and snow. Had a great match shooting with jgoodz420 and his sweet new rifle 8)
Thanks to airgunsource for bringing all the goodies for us to drool over. I was fondling the GSG BB gun, but my eyes were on that EV-2....
Special thanks to POWDERKEG and the other two gentlemen who helped me free my stupid truck from the massive 1" snow drift I managed to get stuck in
Can't wait for next years FT season!

That was lots of fun. The snow and sunlight were perfect. almost no wind and a good time had by all.

Thank you to everyone for making this "newbie's " first field shoot a lot of fun. Thank you to Mr. Gibson for taking me under his wing and showing me the "ropes". I am the short, fat, camoed guy in the pic.

I will definitely be doing this again...

Chris

That was fun, shot my new rifle, got a nice xmas present , spent some money on toys, got an air gun source sticker for my truck and a CAFTA patch for my hat , learned a couple of things after while shooting the breeze and made it home in time for supper so the wife wasn't angry. Maybe I should have bought a lottery ticket as well?

There was a few people playing with that one! A definite maybe when the extra mags become available. I hear they are quite the CO2 hogs though?

Excellent day!!!!

Glad to make it out to another FT event, and glad to put the new S410 to use.......

Had a great day shooting and talking with everyone. I got to shoot the match with pumpmaster, we had a great time (the narration was awesome too eh Tom?? :P .....VINDICATION!!! ) as did everyone out there.

With my new gun I also calculated I shot 18% better than at the Fudd match, so Im extremely happy about that. Good improvement for my second match, and a HUGE difference made by the S410; I now know what all the fuss is about.......pure awesomeness

Thanks to everyone who helped to make this possible, hope to see you all soon.......

Haha, yep we had some good laughs! We'll have to compare notes on fill pressure testing of our rifles over the off-season, I can't wait to see what they're capable of once we have that sorted out 8) I just have to resist selling mine for that EV2

Not trying to be critical... but... where was this shoot advertised? I am new and forgive me if it is obvious...

If Tom didn't invite me I wouldn't have known it was on.... and I live 15 minutes away.

As a general rule the seasons matches are listed at the top of this forum under the schedule. This season one of the primary organizers at Elmira has had some health issues, and so the matches have been somewhat sporadic. This situation should be rectified for the 2010 season with the help of some new blood, known as Pirellip! The schedule is also shown at the CAFTA website: www.caftahome.com. Again I apologize for this years lack of published schedules for Elmira.

Until today I didn't know CAFTA had its own site or forum. Thanx Parker 101

Hope to see more people at some shoots this coming year.
