I was at Airgun Source last week and couldn't resist the call of a TX200 Mark III. Sighted it in today and am very happy with the accuracy. I think I'll set it up for hunter class so I can shoot WFTF or HFT as the mood strikes. As usual, the service at Airgun Source was excellent. Now I just have to decide on a scope and find the pellet it likes. Looking forward to the process.

Hi BJP, congrat on your new TX. I received mine two weeks ago and I'm still dreamin ;) JSB and Air Arms pellets in 8.4 gr is what i'm feeding her with. and this is the kind of grouping i have at 25m after 750 shots. maybe next week I will take her a part for a cleaning and lubing with good stuff. But for now I just enjoy :)

up is a 5 five shot
below is a ten shot
it's not a perfect round hole but what is great with my TX is that there is NOMORE FLYERS or it's my fault ;)

TX's are top notch, everything about them exudes quality. I think the only other springer I want now is the Pro Sport 8)

Your not going to set up your TX @ 12FPE and shoot WFTF with me? :)

Looking good BJP - have you tried predators in it - my HW REALLY likes those as well as the 4.51 Cometa JSB's. The Cometa (green label) pellets have proven to be more accurate than the standard JSB 4.51 domed in my rifle, in back to back tests to 25 meters.

Why not shoot the TX at whatever FPE it happens to be currently, since the limit is now 20fpe - is it not?

My TX200HC seems to be happy with JSB 15.9 grain 5.52 mm (or AA Field Diabolo 16 grain 5.52). They are top notch quality and finish.

I now understand why all of you TX owners like them so much.

Jgoodz: I picked up a Votek 12FPE kit for it at the same time so I could also shoot WFTF but when I went to install it I found that the long Teflon spirng guide is not the correct size for the steel guide that is attached to the plug/trigger housing (and I'm not screwing/drilling anything till I know what to do)! i emailed Vortek and they said they're not aware of any design changes so he wants me to email him a pic to see what he can do for me. All part of the process i guess.
In stock form it's advertised as 950fps, over my chronograph it's averaging closer to 850fps with JSB 8.4's. Travis also gave a couple of tines of Air Arms. one in 4.51 and one in 4.52 to try. I'm sure it'll like at least one of those.

I am so looking forward to testing and setting it up over the winter. I figure stock with a 16X scope for HFT and a GinB and a Sightron for WFTF springer.

I'm having so much fun with airguns at the moment I just might sell a few powderburners to make way for a FTP900 or an LG110!!

I can't afford mid-life, let alone a mid-life crisis!!!! I have decided that I would rather save and have one high quality item that I really like rather than a bunch of stuff that isn't exactly what I want. The TX was actually a birthday present from the wife & son. Now to drool over the GinB stock site and look at scopes.......

Congrats on your latest aquisition, BJP. Looks like she is shooting just as you would expect from a finely crafted firearm like the TX.

When you fit the Vortek kit, you will actually fall in love all over again. If you think you have a smooth shooter now, just wait 'til you finish that mod, buddy. It is literally like shooting a different gun :D :D :D :D

Enjoy
