Hi Guys and gals.

We will be having a FT match or under the shed, all depends on the weather. I imagine that the weather will be nice.

We will have a match on the 28 of December, at the Mission Rod and gun.

If you haven't been there before, when you drive through the gate hang a right at the mobile home, go past the archery range, when the road split hang a left, you'll see us eventually.

See you guys there, it will be A LOT OF FUN GUARANTEED.

Oh almost forgot, if someone can bring a BBQ and a bottle of gas, and buns we will have a Sausage lunch.

Biagio

Nice! See you guys there. I've already told the wife, and will get out as early as I can. Going to throw a scope on my Diana 24, will bring the Crosman 2550, and my Hammerli Pneuma with a new Bushnell to site in.

Just to help out any potential new visitors:

It looks like I got a friend interested, so it'll be two of us coming along. Unfortunately, I don't have a portable BBQ. Let me know if I can bring anything else.

Hi barfman

If possible, can you please bring a dozen or two of hotdog buns?

Much appreciated.

Biagio

Sorry to see you couldn't make it, Biagio. I hope all is well.

Wayne showed up and let me in, and then Scott. We managed to get plenty of good shooting in before the rain started. I took a few photos which I will post tomorrow. Froze the buns, we'll cook em up next month!

Cheers,

Mike

Didn't take many photos, but Wayne mentioned that you wanted to see some. Lots of fun targets to shoot at, and I brought a few high vis targets to sight in my new scope. Those little silhouettes were knocked down several times each! Wayne's AA was performing as usual, grouping ragged holes on the 40 yard target.

Being the first time that I've really shot my Hammerli Pneuma, I couldn't wait to test it out. I had about 160 bar in the cylinder to start, with no further air until my pump arrived. Funny enough, according to the delivery notice, the pump showed up an hour after I had left to Mission. After shooting at least 40 shots, I was getting down to about 110 bar, and I wanted to see how the accuracy was being affected. That last photo shows my shot on the Shoot-N-C target bullseye at 40 yards. That was VERY satisfying! Especially since I had no good ammo, and was reduced to shooting Benji hollow points. Even with those, I was having a tough time missing anything.

Now I've got my pump, an extra magazine and some JSB Jumbos so it's only uphill from here!

I then had to switch to my 2240 in .25 cal, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too far behind the Hammerli in accuracy. Unfortunately, it was so cold that I wasn't getting great shot counts off of the CO2, so I think it's time to look into switching that bugger to HiPAC. Still, when I had the patience to give it 20 seconds or so between shots, it did its job just fine.

Happy new years to you all, cheers!

Hi Barfman

It is always fun to take that new gun to the range and sight it in that very first time. It is very fun to see how good the gun really is. I rally really hope I'll make it this month. The weather is changing slowly, warmer the better I shoot. I'm not making it to Lithuania this year.
But next year I'll be able to make it for sure. I like to shoot the Nationals in the Port.

Sounds like fun.

See you guys on the 25 January.

Be good

Biagio

Hey Biagio,

Great! I'm planning to make it on the 25th. There are a few forum members planning to come out for their first time, as well! We'll discuss everything when the notice goes up. Hope all is well, and that you can make it this time!

Cheers,

Mike

I feel AOK right now, I really really need to come. For now I'll see you on the 25.

I hope more than 20 people make it to the shoot, like they say, the more the merrier.

See you then, I have to get my scuba tanks filled on Monday. All the best

I'll bring as many guns as I can load in my car.

Biagio

Souds like fun.

I love that target. It was quite fun the last time you pulled that puppy out. Hey Curtis, see you on the 25th, I'm sure the stupid Hwy will be open.
