I also plan to attend (since it's a Sunday and I can). It'll be my first one and I'll be there more to watch and learn than shoot. But I'll be bringing an HW50S and HW97KT with me. Unfortunately the longest distance I've shot either is about 20 yards and I'm not great even at that relatively short distance.

Maybe... It depends how crazy Saturday night is. :p

If I go, I could pick up Frank. Must be on the way there.

It was my first field target event and while I didn't shoot very well, I had a LOT of fun!

Thank you to Nick for his efforts:

I don't know for sure, but I think Vitaly, with his springer, had the best results (no support of any kind, sitting in field target position):

And I think a nature photographer came along photographing butterflies or something... :)

The mosquitoes were plentiful early on, but they disappeared as the day warmed up.

I came away from the day realizing I need a LOT more practice, but that I had a lot of fun and look forward to doing it again.

Special thanks to Nick for organizing this wonderful event!
It was not too hot inside the forest, no wind, perfect weather!
Trying to forget about those evil reducers  , so called to reduce our slim chances to hit even more...
And finally we can see the photo of photographer

Looks awesome, just missed it. Is this a yearly ordeal?

For my first FT shoot I must say I've come away pretty disappointed. Here it is, one full week after the shoot, and STILL there have been NO RESULTS made available. As a newcomer I'd really like to see how I did, especially compared with others and not seeing that takes a lot of fun out of the event.

Next time I may as well just set up a target in a field somewhere myself and shoot alone. And save myself two hours of driving each way.

Without some assurances of better organization, I doubt I'll attend any more such events.
