Just letting those who are left from the old days that I'm back shooting and want to thank you for having me as a guest for those three wonderful shoots I attended. Really learned a lot about shooting at those meets, picked up a fine Weirauch springer from the visit (forgotten from who but if I see the name I'll remember). Still shoot it, and have about 10 of my own field targets. Set up an informal shoot a couple of years ago at a summer music camp I was running, and the students loved it. Wonderful game. Doubt I'll be back (knees even worse and old age looms - I'm 70 now) but won't forget the camaraderie, kindness and knowledge I picked up. I see Mac and Biag are still here . . . anyone else? |

Hi Gord. Good have have you back on the forum. I am 72 and still active in WFTF Division. I will keep doing that as long as I can. The open class has been transitioning to one where kneeling and standing are not compulsory. You can sit on a stool and use a bipod to steady the gun. Still fun and challenging and the social aspect is still there. |
