If you look at both side by side, they are more different than alike. I like the look of the Umarex better

I didnt say they look alike. But more like crappy like the Buckmark, as I assume they be the same powerplant. Just in a different shell.

I like the appearance of Ruger better. It looks more like a Ruger, including the "factory" grips. Too, they are very "point-able". The
4" in .22LR made a terrific aerial pistol, for shooting aerial targets(hand thrown). Do this only where there is NOTHING downrange for many miles
with a .22LR or other powder burning gun, that is.

if the sear is anything like the Browning Buckmark don't waist your time :(

Ace what's up with the sear on the Buckmark? I never had or shot one. They say the trigger is single-stage on the Ruger, does the Buckmark has a single-stage trigger too?

the sear is made of a very cheap metal and after some time with wear it will not engage the trigger
and as others have mentioned the trigger itself is terrible

Well it is a good if you want a 10-15ft, and have a wack of 177 and I want to shoot cans in your basement air pistol.

Trigger is hard like a Red Ryder

Even if there is nothing down range, make sure your club allows it. Because it is a good way of being careless and getting a range shut down. A local Police Force got banned from a club for doing it. After sweeping up the investigation.
