Post subject:  Very Rare Daisy Red Ryder First Variant 1940/41 SOLD

I have a very rare Daisy Red Ryder rifle for sale. This is the first variant made, with the copper barrel bands dating it to 1940/1941. This was the first year these were sold, making this the earliest variant Red Ryder you will find. Has the correct period manufacturing stamp markings. A timeless classic.

The rifle is in remarkably excellent condition, especially considering it is basically 80 years old. Still retains much of its bluing and luster. This is the all metal version, no plastic anywhere, back when things were made to last.

Everything functions, but the bb’s are getting stuck at the end of the barrel suggesting the seal is dried and needs a good soaking to rejuvenate it back to life. All parts are present and all are original. I’ve never seen another first variant, many of the newer versions have missing or replacement screws, this older one is completely original.

I’m asking less than what it cost me, looking for $300 plus shipping within Canada. Emt preferred. Any questions, please ask.

This is a non regulated firearm, no pal is required to possess or purchase, but must be 18 to buy. And for Pete’s sake, please don’t shoot your eye out!
