Firstly, do these actually work?

I have read mixed reviews on these. Everything from, these are the bees knees to the bees poop.

Secondly, does anyone here make them? I'm having trouble finding one for my 2079 which has the 15mm barrel, not the 14 which seems to be the most common.

Whichever option you choose to go with, please consider either sending the barrel, or having it machined such as to center the bore at the muzzle end. Too large a hole in the cone will reduce the effectiveness of the stripper....no matter how well it's made otherwise.

The qb barrels I have had through my hands never had the bore very well centered at the muzzle. Some were downright awful.

Should go without saying, but....if the bore is off center by "enough", it can cause clipping on the cone, which will be an utter disaster for accuracy.

Agreed, this is one area I don't want to cut corners.

I'll defer to Al, Handyguy! He has a LOT more experience with these then I do! I have made two in one year, is all.
