Today is the 7th anniversary of my death and rebirth.... For those of you who don't know, I had a Cardiac Arrest on Dec. 30, 2011 and was dead for 10 minutes.... My wife Diane, our neighbours, and the AED she had purchased for the Motel when we opened it in 2008 brought me back....

I guess it really isn't a $1500 shelf ornament, huh ?!?!?

My mother tells people all the time, not to grow up.

Eh, you want to grow up, but only to a certain point.

Early 20's seem pretty good. You're an adult, but don't necessarily have all the responsibilities of older adults, but have the same rights and freedoms. It's pretty nice actually. I mean I've been to college and I have a job, but that's all connected to me and only me, I don't have people relying on me to provide for them. Also, if I really screw up big time, I still have parents to make sure it doesn't end up too bad.

Not to mention, you're still full of energy and vigor and you can still be physically active for a long time without having to worry about back pain, joint pain, and what not. Unlike some of you old people.

I was an adult when I was 16th. I joined the Army. But I like being mid 30's Since you're old enough to live in the days of no internet. So your capable of figuring out stuff you're self. Father normally gave you something and was up to you to figure it out. You knew both the Metric and SAE. You're respected. Not called a millennial and blamed for the way the world is.

I didn't goto college till I was like 30. And parents will always be parents. I own a house and mom called me tonight. Asking if I made supper yet? I said no. Shes like. I made too much, Come on over. Or when we go out, argue who paying the bill.

But when she said don't grow up. She means as like. Being a stick in the mud, grumpy, serious all the and no fun.

She's right to say that.

I mean if you are serious for your entire life from some point on and don't have any fun, then as far as I am concerned your life from then on is wasted.
