Hi Notec thanks for the link, I was looking on there today which is why I posed the question.LOL. Like Pete was saying, the last one I had 40 odd years ago was made from a tree branch with a piece cut from an inner tube for the power stroke. Hahaha. I was actually looking at the Daisy until I googled slingshot. My how things have changed. So what should I buy? Like when I got back into airguns after a 40 year absence.......and I’m still amazed by what is out there now.

Tree crooks are still tree crooks, leather hasn't changed. The only difference is you can buy better rubber nowadays. I use dollar store marbles as ammo.

Fired one shot out of my new slingshot. Bought one last spring for my trailer. Thought I could shoot silently. Took one shot at a target with a shotgun lead ball and it missed target and heard it rattle hard around six or seven trees. Thought I will end up killing someone with it so I got into quiet spring airsoft pistols instead and never fired another shot from slingshot.

I was going to ask if someone had given the Pocket Shot a try?
How do you like it?

I have a wrist rocket with extra-power rubber straps. It is quite powerful, using pure lead,

134gr. .45 calibre round balls. I don't know the velocity, but it will dispatch vermin quite easily.

A friend of mine has one I can barely get back to anchor, yet have no trouble shooting an 80

pound compound. He uses my 14 bore rifles's .682", .480gr. pure lead round balls in it and at

fairly close range, they go through 3/8"" spruce plywood. They also work well on vermin.

my slingshots are for campsite plinking, trail hiking, backyard fun, shooting .68 paintballs lol
the Pocket Shot fits well in those parameters (other than the paintballs) ... a fun unique device... using just the basic setup allows for back pocket carry with some steel shot stored inside..
i like using the pistol grip too but i detached the wrist brace as i found it didn't allow my wrist to be in the angle i prefer. i attached a flashlight to the rail. it was one of my first purchases from the forum/wllm995
