My parents recently gave me my grand-father's old axe that he used for working wood, as part of the family heirloom. I believe my grand father could have acquired this axe anywhere between the early '50s to the late '70s. I also think this is a good quality tool (my grand-father was rather picky regarding the quality of his tools :axe: ), the brand seem to be ''Iltis''. My grand-father also made the handle, in maple.

I haven't done much search on it yet, but I remember seeing a thread here not too long ago about old axes, so I was hoping maybe someone here has some knowledge on that particular brand :)
