I have a set of three custom made knives I’m looking to sell.

These knives were made by hand by a well regarded knife maker in northern Manitoba. These are truly one of a kind, you will not find a set like these anywhere. Each knife has a hand selected water buffalo horn handle, with brass inlays. Each has its own hand made, fitted leather embossed sheath. The two smaller ones are both Damascus patterned blades.

The smallest measures 6 3/4” total length, with a 3 1/4” blade.

The medium sized knife measures 8 3/4” with a 4” blade.

The filleting knife measures 12 1/2” with a 8” blade.

The small knife and filleting knife have never been used. The medium knife was used maybe 3 times to open boxes. All are in excellent shape. These would be considered heirloom quality knives.

These were very costly knives, the set cost over $1200. I am looking for $375 plus shipping for the set. I’m losing $1000 at this price. Emt is preferred, any questions, please ask. I may consider selling them individually if no takers on the set of three. I’m also going to advertise them locally by the weekend and will update here if they sell locally.

I’ve had a few questions on these knives...

I’m not sure the exact steel used in the blades but the maker advised they were a high grade of steel, not cheap metal.
Full metal tang (blade continues through to the end of the handle)
Each is hand stamped with a serial number by the maker.

The damascus - folded steel bladed knives, appear to have been made forged from cable.
This is the cause of the wild patterns. Very intriguing.

The craftsman who made them doesn’t use cable so I’m not sure what has caused the incredible patterns.
