I have a few rifles to get rid of but need boxes and do not have time to go looking around work is very busy any ideas

Try Sports Chek for golf club boxes. I have also found shop light (4 ft) boxes are really good for rifles. Pity I have a whole bunch kicking around, I save all rifle suitable boxes for future mailings.

Try uhaul.. they sell boxes in a million different sizes.

Maybe PVC pipe? If there's scrap pieces around you can use that.
