Post subject:  New add-on for my DE
Bought the official add-on kit from AW Custom for my latest acquired Cyber-Gun 6mm Desert Eagle. It's said the last one in Toronto... :)

It's the Raccoon City Special zombie killing hand canon acting in Resident Evil.

The conversion kit includes a longer front section of the slide with upper and lower rails and threaded end for the included muzzle brake, and an adjustable rear sight then a very nice (much better, IMO) grip.

Time not allow me to put the full kit on last night, but just replaced the grip and took some photos~

The quality and deaign of this 6mm airsoft pistol from Cybergun made by AW Custom really impressed me again... No screw but a locking latch to hold the grip in a tight position is the first time I see. And there's no marks at all on the drop out mag and the slide which will be seen on my other blow back replica in the first couple shots or mag loading after brand new from the box after I almost finish my first bottle of green gas... :thumbs:

That's awesome! I love some of the special pistols that are out there, like the JW3 Combat Master. I thought they had another Resident Evil pistol out from a few years back based on a Berreta type pistol?

Yep! Remember I saw that Beretta before but couldn't find it now~ I love those special versions too... As a collective piece, too boring to get the regular model~ [emoji38]

Yeah I like seeing the remakes of movie guns. Like the John wick gun :mrgreen:

(Just make sure it's not on "the list" .... Even imaginary guns could be prohib :lol: )

I tough the Desert Eagle was umongus :shock: compared to other gun's, but that is a CANON :twisted: . Perfectly my style.

The worst part is that I received my own DE(KWC) this wenesday 8) and am getting tempted.... :evil:

I went to the store front and bought my Cybergun AW L6 version last month, and went again the day before to grab this kit...

There should be still one or two L6, but regular version had been sold out long time ago. Then I bought the last set of this conversion kit.

I checked the KWC version in the other store, the Toronto Airsoft. The demo gun looks been abused a lot and with some ages, then the lower part which is plastic feels very plastic in the hand... So I gave up.

The AW version is with a much higher price tag, however finally the full metal construction really attracted me to empty my pocket... ImageImage

And by the way, the first sight on the P17, it made me think about the Robocop right away... So I soon got a HW40 as a upgraded collection...

And then the HW45 came home, reminded me the movie again~ ImageImage

Time goes, and my collection grows too.... You do have a nice collection too!

I don't have a huge collection as big as the masters here but need to think twice before clicking check out... :(

I have something similar to a P17 labelled as Marksman, its a nice shooter and accurate enough, i brought it to a 10 meter indoor range and its hold its own in accuracy, only issue is my old eyes LOL, cant see the bullseye target clearly at 10meter. I want to get a hw45 or p1 but the size turned me off as it looks like its to hefty, I wish that we can get this here LP400 or the S400 from Snowpeak, or even the new SP500 (Wes, are you listenning LOL :))

The size of the 45 actually is okay~ I even add about 2mm thickness plastic sheets in both side under the grip panels to fit my small to medium hand tighter...

Don't worry about the eyes~ for a pistol, actually I used to open sights more (I have a big scope on the old P3 tho...picture above is the stock scope, and I out a bigger one later as picture below), and the competitors couldn't see the bullseye either in the formal match~ [emoji38] [emoji38]

For the SP500, did you try the HW70 before? Although the trigger is not as good as the HW40/45/75, but still a good break barrel pistol with impressive accuracy ~ Image

Haven't actually tried any HW pistol trigger, but have tried HW97, TX200 and i think its not even close to a competition trigger.
