A bit OT, but maybe it fits some gun part?? :D

Need it for Spyderco knives. Don't want a crap one as these screws are tiny and likely easily deformed. Or a Torx key would do. Most sets I saw so far stop at T8. Preferably from a "common" store. I have a massive collection of strange bits but never noticed I don't have a regular T6, or else lost or loaned it... :( Thanks!

I just buy them as there needed for our Car old Merc for the Brake Calipers. I've had to buy a few of them, but there always the ones that are not in the Kits. Napa, CTC, Fastenal, Car Quest etc... Around $6.-$8.cnd each or about there depending on what brand you want. I've bought regular ones that aren't that bad and have used a 3/8" Impact Gun with them with no problems as of yet. Been doing this for over 30-years or so... :)

Thanks, haven't tried a proper auto parts supplier yet, didn't think cars would use screws that small. But $6-8 just for a single bit?? Maybe I'll get a crappy one, if there is such a thing. :D So far I've lived my whole life without using a T6. I understand some newer small quality electronic stuff uses them, so I might run into it for that anyways.

Princess Auto did the trick, they had lots of options but not really a standard 1/4" T6 bit. Wiha has a quality 1/4" bit set that includes a T6 for a good price, but then I'd get a bunch of larger bits I didn't need duplicates of. The PA set had better/smaller useful sizes for me and was tamper proof Torx (which works on regular Torx screws) so a bit more flexible and a bit less $$. Unusually for PA stuff, this set was not made in China...

But mainly I am posting this (since nobody here probably cares about tiny Torx unless they work on small modern electronics [or Spyderco]) to mention the brass punch set that PA has on sale for $7 now. This should be pretty useful for working on airguns, though many of the 8 punches included are a bit large in diameter. I previously used my own home-made brass punches. Brass is nice because it doesn't damage/mar the steel nearly as much as using steel punches will.
