Only a couple vendors in Canada ever carried Leapers (for a number of reasons) and their stock situation was never good. Good luck.

Any "long eye relief" scope of the appropriate size and specs- i.e. illuminated reticle and variable magnification.

This would be close: http://www.ncstar.com/scripts/prodView. ... roduct=110

or this: http://www.ncstar.com/scripts/prodView. ... roduct=114

Leapers is mostly about the terminology/marketing- they throw all sorts of relatively meaningless terms on their stuff- i.e. "CQB", "TrueStrength", "BugBuster" and so on.

Not trying to sell something here, but Leapers is tough to get in Canada because the warranty is handled poorly in most people's experience- so no one wants to carry it and end up with unhappy customers when/if a problem arises.

I guess I want my cake and eat it too. i want something that will be good at really close range (1x) and also something you can dial out to 4x.

Leupold makes a beautiful CQB (1-3x) scope that I've played with on an AR-15, but a little pricey for a .22

Sniper (Dan) used to sell a 1-4 red dot sight a year or two back, i think it would be great for short range plinking, quick hunting situations.

i dont believe he carries them anymore though
