I don't see it listed on the website, can anyone possibly get a picture of a flyer or add for me to take in for negotiations? or even a location that has it on sale?

I saw CO2 cartridges at a Cdn Tire store yesterday with what appeared to be a "sale price" but learned when I got home that actually the "sale price" was actually the regular price :?
Today I'll check on the Ruger Black Hawk. The online flyer it doesn't appear to be on sale;

Is this particular air rifle all that great? Is it worth the $124.99 sale price?
I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere else but Cdn Tire.

The price isn't great, but it's good.
Regular price varies between $120-$250, with the latter being CT. So if you live near to a CT, then the current sale price is attractive, just add the tax and away you go. No shipping cost.
TSC stores has had it on sale as low as $100, and their regular is $170.
Is it worth $250... absolutely not. At half that without shipping it's a good deal. And the Ruger * Hawks are decent rifles, being RWS/Diana 34 clones. If you want a non-PAL "34" this is a good option. I prefer a wood stock air hawk, but the composite stock one is good enough for me; it's a RWS 34 Panther clone.

X2. I got a wood stock Airhawk used for very cheap recently. In stripping it down it was much cleaner and well made than the B18 series rifles (Crosman Quest, Phantom, Optimus; benji classic, ....... ). T05 clone trigger = pretty darn good true 2 stage trigger, instead of having to mod or pay for an aftermarket trigger. It also have very good ball berring lockup. You can also get full power for them and .22 barrel as well. My airhawk is a really accurate sweet shooter, so much so that I haven't even put my vortek kit into it from fear of harshifying it. With two, I can rest easy :)

Being at CTire, you can always take it back with any issues and they'll help you out lickity split. To me, that's always a major plus over online. I hate paying for shipping.

I guess the only negative is that you can't upgrade it to a nitro piston, but replacing a spring is cheap and easy, and can be considered normal maintenance.

It has been almost a week since I've gotten my last new gun after all ;).

While this air rifle was on sale at Cdn Tire I picked up a rain check. I guess they sold out pretty quick when they went on sale.
Well it took two months to arrive but I finally have my Ruger Blackhawk air rifle in my hands.

I haven't had much of a chance to shoot it because of the miserably wet weather outside this weekend but my initial impression is that it's a nice quality air rifle. The trigger is supposed to be adjustable but I find the factory adjustment to be just fine, real light & crisp. The pellets I've tried fit pretty loosely in the breech which bothers me a bit. Maybe it's just the cheap brand of pellets that I tried. I'll try something better tomorrow.

It's definitely a springer. I really feel & hear it when I squeeze the trigger. The only other springer I have is a Stoeger X5 and man that thing is really noisy to shoot.

Tomorrow I'll see about mounting the Ruger 4x32 scope that came with it on top and set up some targets & the Chrony to see just how accurate and fast this thing shoots. Maybe I'll do a write up in the Equipment Reviews section.
