Interesting site with a lot of nice eye candy-thanks for posting the links...

To put the pricing into perspective, 10,000 Rubles is about USD$154, or CDN$207 (so sayeth the XE online converter).
One listing- the Diana 240 .177- comes in at just under 20,000Ru, or about CDN$400.
Prices vary from close to crazy, and when you factor in shipping and Customs issues, it makes a lot of sense to shop at home.
Wish we got a few more of them here, though...

I'd rather take my chances with a Canadian importer that is reputable then deal with Mother-F%cker Russia!
Unstable country and unstable leader......

Here's something really interesting from Ukraine. The designer posted a lengthy thread during the prototype build here on CAF, some really nice work. Seems it's about to hit the market.

I wonder what it's like having that kind of selection.
Tis sad that they have access to this kind of hardware and we can't even draw the PAL line at 12 fpe, let alone import these beauties.

If it's under 500 fps (stamped F in pentagram on many European airgun). You can just order one and wait for it to show up in your mailbox. They are just sporting-goods item, non-regulated.

If you want to simplify the process once it gets to Canada. Ask for a import permit beforehand.

If it's over 500fps, call the RCMP and ask them if 1) they have a FRT # for that specific make/model or 2) what's required for it to be approved. Unless it's a bullpup, I don't think they would need the actual rifle.
