That is indeed a sweet collection. I am happy there are others who love HW45/P1's as much as I do. Here are my reasons for springers: No external power source Long lifespan of mainsprings, where replacing doesn't cost much. (by the time the HW mainspring wears out the equivalent use of C02 pistols would drain the cost of a P1 in gas cartriges) Power is just under the legal limit Now.. if only Weihrauch created a multi-pump pneumatic version then I would have to buy that. For now, I've spent enough |

The HW45 is indeed a unique airgun. A must have... |

Often overlooked it seems, because of its older styling, but a deadly shooter, extremely accurate over a long range, especially the scoped version, niced trigger, good power, easy cocker, shoots rather like a hybrid springer/pneumatic. If i could only take only one, out of all the the HWs, or Diana, it would be the HW70!

I have the HW70 also and it is a good pistol and all but mine seems to shoot slower than spec since new. I have looked at the spring and seals and everything seems fine. One of my .22 HW45s shoots a little slower too, I guess they all don't go together quiet the same.
