SE = Scary Edition, cause it's a "black rifle" now.

Basically I have both FDE R1 and black DPMS Crosman's so did a lil surgery when I was bored.
The DPMS has the top cover of it's stock molded to the lower receiver so it has to be cut off to allow the R1's buffer to install.
After a little sanding it blends in.
When fitting the DPMS stock to the R1's FDE receiver the top cover is held in place by the roll pin which pins the spring guide.
All in all easy little mod that gives something unique... for now at least as I do see Crosman.ca has listed a Black R1

Thanks
I guess I should also point out the "Barrel Device" is a "Faux Suppresor/Silencer", it is an airsoft piece as is the MST Buttstock.
Get myself in real trouble with this monstrous pop can murdering tool of the devil.

The cheek rest/cover is held at rear by roll pin but front doesn't lift even now it is no longer attached to lower receiver.
I am not a fan of the FDE so this one is setup how the kids like it.

NICE job Gimpy Golden

I don't have the courage to do that to my DPMS, but I do prefer the look of yours!

If you had a YouTube video "how to" I would have tackled it

Do you have a link to the place you bought that suppressor
Is this the one you got ?
https://www.torontoairsoft.com/CYMA-MK2 ... _7153.html

or this one

https://www.torontoairsoft.com/GG-SOCOM ... _5771.html

The only mod I did to mine was added a rail riser and red dot , a new forward grip and a folding bipod
I too am not a big fan of the FDE but what you did to it makes it much better

I've also had a hard time finding an quality pistol grip, where did you find that one? and was it tricky to replace?

Cheers

T.A.G.
