Here are some updated pics of my airgun collection which has been many years in the making! I’ve actually run out of space so am at the point where I will be starting to thin the herd soon...

I think it is an old Daisy, but can't recall the model #.

And yes, it is a very impressive collection. How long have you been collecting them?

And maybe a little more info. for us curious types. I can identify most, but the 3 old Crosman Peacemakers could be either 44's (in .177 or .22) or 36's. The 1861, Hahn 45, Daisy 179 & Umarex Colt Ranger Edition are easier to identify.

Hi it’s a Daisy Ted Williams Model 799 marketed by Sears Roebuck, also sold by Sears back in the day without the gold finish as a “Citation”. It is a 5-shot CO2 powered semi-auto bb rifle.

You definitely know your airguns!! Yes the Peacemakers are all 44s in .22.

I’ve been collecting on and off since I was a kid in the 80s.

I too started collecting airguns as a teenager, in the late 1970's. But have been way more active in the collecting, over the past 6-7 years, as they started coming out with way more realistic, old west and modern replicas. And I finally have the space to set up a proper range in the basement.

Getting close to 70 now, between vintage ones & new ones.

My advice, don't thin out the herd, just get a couple more gun cabinets.

Hmm~ after a few years having fun in this hobby and collecting, I looks reached some certain point that started spending the money a little bit more wisely...

(Uhh, less purchases but indeed more each time... :eek:)

And something makes me buying less also because I looks leaned to rifles more than pistols which really takes up more rooms to store...

WOW that must be quite a collection! Do you still have all your airguns from when you were a kid as well? I got rid of a lot of mine, regrettably, but have been able to reaquire some of the same models over my years of collecting. Love that you have a range in your basement! Once my kids get a little older that would be amazing to have.

Yes, I still have the 3 western airguns I bought in the late 1970's & early 80's. A Daisy 1894 Spittin Image, a Daisy 179, and a Crosman 1861. All bought new at Woolco & Kmart. The 1861 came in a very limited edition kit, which I still have. It includes a holster, CO2, oil, pellets, BB's, and Crosman belt buckle. Never seen one for sale anywhere.

The 1894 & 1861 both work well. The 179 not so well, but looks nice.
